   Seller Tutorial for Buy It Now

   When you list, simply add a Buy It Now feature to your auction or choose the new Buy It Now only (no bidding) format. For example, specify that you want to sell your item at £50 and sell it at £50.


The main difference between Auctions with a Buy It Now feature and Buy It Now only
Auctions with a Buy It Now feature
If you're listing an auction with a Buy It Now feature, the first buyer has the option to buy your item immediately (which would end the auction) or place a bid.

Note: If a bid is placed (or the reserve price is met, if applicable), the Buy It Now feature disappears and your item will sell through the normal auction process.

Buy It Now only
If you're listing a Buy It Now only (no bidding) item, buyers can purchase the item immediately. There is no bidding or long waits.

 
Step 1: Choose the auction format and include a Buy It Now feature OR choose the Buy It Now only (no bidding) format. Learn more

 

  Minimum seller requirements apply if you want to sell ‘Buy It Now’ items. You must have 10 positive feedback or sign up for Direct Debit.

 
Step 2: Specify a price at which you would be willing to sell your item immediately (this is your Buy It Now feature).

 
Auctions with a Buy It Now feature
If you're listing an Auction with a Buy It Now feature, be sure to specify both your minimum bid price AND your Buy It Now price.

Your Buy It Now price must be greater or equal to your starting bid price.

Buy It Now only
If you're listing a Buy It Now only (no bidding) item, simply specify your Buy It Now price. It's as simple as that.

Auctions with a Buy It Now feature will be displayed with both a bid price and a Buy It Now price.

Buy It Now only
Buy It Now only (no bidding) listings will appear with a Buy It Now price only.



 
Buyers can find your item on their search results pages or our category browse pages. They can also find Buy It Now only items through the "Buy It Now" tab (also on search results and category browse pages).
