The PowerSeller Programme

PowerSeller are business sellers consistently selling mesignificantdium to high volumes on eBay whilst offering highest standards of service and professionalism. The PowerSeller Programme is designed to help sellers grow their eBay business and to reward those sellers upholding the highest service standards.

To become a PowerSeller you need to be registered as a business on eBay, achieved a 98% positive feedback rating and maintained a minimum 30-day Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) of 4.6 in all four DSR categories.

PowerSellers have five volume levels to aspire to - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium - based on gross monthly sales. In addition there are three new service based statuses - Standard, Above Standard and Top-rated seller – based on the number of low (1 or 2 star) DSR ratings. These new statuses will determine the level of discount available to PowerSellers from 16th January 2010.

With the introduction of the new eBay Top-rated seller status the following changes to the PowerSeller Programme will occur:

• Introduction of an additional DSR measure focusing on the number of low (1 & 2 star) DSR ratings.
• Introduction of eBay Top-rated seller status and benefits starting 1st October 2009
• Introduction of minimum service standards for all sellers on 1st October 2009
• Introduction of a new Selling Practices Policy
• Removal of the PowerSeller logo from search results and view item pages for all PowerSellers from 1st October
• Introduction of Above Standard status and benefits on 16th January 2010
• Introduction of a new fee discount structure from 16th January 2010 recognising sellers offering the best quality of service
