The 'Beyond the Basics' course will draw heavily on the content of the 'Top Seller University' course that ran between April and August 2005.
Based on feedback from delegates and our own recommendations, this course would be right for you if:
- You have begun selling on eBay as a hobby and wish to increase your sales to take it beyond this level
- You are not yet a PowerSeller or have newly obtained PowerSeller status
- You have not yet begun selling on eBay, but feel comfortable with the basics of selling and would like to know more
- You would like a 'refresher' course in selling
This course is not right for you if:
- You are an experienced PowerSeller
- You have attended a previous eBay University event in the last 18 months
The Day Itself…
- Marketing - Taking an in depth look at how to make yourself and your sales stand out - building a brand and merchandising your product - making the most of what exists on eBay UK. Also covers eBay Shops.
- Scaling - How to ramp up your eBay sales by making yourself more efficient. Looks at eBay Listing tools and ways of increasing your customer base, by broadening your product offering or expanding into new and merging markets.
- Managing Your sales - As your sales grow, how do you keep on top of all of your sales and the related information. Looks at sources of information on eBay and strategies for success in coping with extra work!
During the day there will be many opportunities to network and share experiences with other sellers and eBay staff. Third parties will also be on hand to offer possible solutions you may like to consider. There will also chance to ask questions of our PowerSeller Panel - sellers that have actually been there and done it, plus pose questions directly to our team of presenters, both during the day and at 'Question Time'. The cost for attending Beyond the Basics is £30.
