Notice of Infringement |

How to report an infringing item In order to participate in the VeRO Programme, all you need to do is fill out and fax to us a Notice of Infringement form specifying the allegedly infringing listings and infringed works, complete with an original authorised signature.
The information requested by the Notice of Infringement is designed to ensure that parties reporting items are either rights owners or authorised by the rights owners, and to enable eBay to correctly identify the material or listing to be ended. After your first Notice of Infringement is received by us, you'll be able to transmit future notices to eBay by email.
Click on the link below to download the Notice of Infringement and explanatory materials.
Note: You will need Adobe® Reader to view and print these documents. Free downloads are available at Adobe's website.
Automated Searches eBay offers to all users a feature called Favourite Searches. As a rights owner you can also set up your free eBay account to use Favourite Searches. With the Favourite Searches feature, you can conduct automatic searches for potentially infringing items. Our system will automatically notify you on a regular basis of any new listings posted which contain any terms in your selected searches. Find out more about using Favourite Searches.
How to report infringements if you are a seller on eBay If you are a community member and seller on eBay, and another member is using your text and/or images in their listings without your permission, you can report their listings to eBay by following our descriptions and image guidelines. Do not use the above notice of infringement form for these situations, but try to contact and communicate directly with the other member to solve the matter.
