Getting eBay Assured Fit protection is simple. Just follow these easy steps:

    We will verify that the provided vehicle details match the item compatibility information provided by our seller. When there is a match, fit is confirmed for that specific item and is indicated by a green checkmark on the listing.

    Purchase an eligible part or accessory

    When there is a match, you'll see the green checkmark on the listing. This represents the parts and accessories that are covered by eBay Assured Fit.

  • British Pound icon

    We will make sure you're protected

    If the part or accessory you purchased does not fit your vehicle, you can return it for free within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund.

eBay Assured Fit will cover most parts and accessories for cars, lorries and motorcycles with more automotive products to be added in the future.

How to search for the right part?

Use Finder

If you start from eBay Motors’ homepage, you can also add a vehicle into My Garage by inputting your vehicle’s registration number, Make/Model/Year/Variant/Type/Engine or select an existing vehicle saved in My Garage and search for the part you are looking for. If you have multiple vehicles saved in My Garage, please ensure you have selected the vehicle which you are shopping parts and accessories for.

How do returns work for eBay Assured Fit?

You can start a return from your purchases in My eBay. When selecting your return reason, choose “Doesn’t fit my vehicle" for a free return. For domestic and international returns, if you don’t receive your label after the return is accepted, please contact the seller or ask us to step in and help.

Why can’t I find the return reason “Doesn’t fit my vehicle”?

You will only see the reason “Doesn’t fit my vehicle” when the item you purchased is eligible for eBay Assured Fit.

How long do I have to open a return?

In order to be eligible for protection, you must open the return request within 30 calendar days after the delivery date or within the seller's stated return window, whichever is longer. Learn more about our return requirements on eBay Money Back Guarantee.

After I ship my return, when can I expect my refund?

Most sellers submit a refund as soon as they receive the returned item. If the item has been returned to the seller and they have not given you a full refund after 2 business days, you can ask us to step in and help.
