- Promotion Period
The eBay x LCS August 2026 (“Promotion”) will be open from 09:00 UK local time on Wednesday 13th August until 16:30 UK local time on Friday 15th August (“Promotion Period”).
- Eligibility
This Promotion is open to users registered on www.ebay.co.uk (the “Site”) who are UK residents, and who must be 18 years of age or older. Employees (and their families) of eBay, affiliates, subsidiary companies, representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may be professionally involved with the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
- Procedure
In order to enter into the Promotion, you must follow @eBayLiveUK on Instagram and leave a comment on the eBay x London Card Show announcement post on Instagram during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Entries”). Only one entry per person is allowed.
Entrants will not receive any confirmation of their entry into the Promotion. They will be entered if they meet the eligibility criteria stated above and correctly follow the procedure stated in this section.
- Prize
The prize will be one (1) of three (3) vouchers (£150, £200 and £250) to spend on ebay.co.uk (the “Prize”) and communicated to the Prize Winners within 7 days of the end of the Promotion Period. There is no cash alternative and the Prize cannot be transferred.
- Prize Winner
There will be three (3) individual winners (the “Prize Winners”) who will be selected at random from all the Eligible Entries
- Prize Winner Notification
The Prize Winners will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message from @ebayliveuk within 7 days of the end of the Promotion Period, in order to notify them of the Prize. If, despite eBay’s reasonable endeavours to do so, eBay cannot contact any of the Prize Winners, eBay reserves the right to select another Prize Winner among the Eligible Entries to award the Prize to.
eBay reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any of the entrants.
- Prize Winner details
In accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing (CAP Code), the Prize Winner’s name and county of residence will be made available upon request to anyone who wishes to verify that a valid award took place. Such information will be made available for a reasonable period within 7 days of eBay successfully contacting the winner. In order to receive this information, please contact Customer Service. The Prize Winner has the opportunity to object to this information being published or made available, or to reduce the amount of information being made available. In order to object, please contact Customer Service.
- Exclusion From Participation
Any attempt to manipulate the Promotion is prohibited and will result in exclusion from participation.
If eBay has suspicions or knowledge that any entrant has been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, eBay reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any related entrants. eBay may also disqualify any entrant who does not act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (or is acting in a way which contravenes the spirit and intention of these Terms and Conditions).
- Data Use and Data Privacy
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the eBay User Privacy Notice.
Your personal data will be used by eBay in connection with, and in order to determine the winner of, the Promotion (including making available on request the Prize Winner’s name and county of residence, to anyone who wishes to obtain it). eBay will do this on the basis of its legitimate interests in enabling eBay users to participate in prize draws.
