What are the alternative final value fees?
The alternative final value fees (“Low-Cost FVF”) is calculated as 15% of the total amount of the sale (including shipping, taxes and any other applicable fees), plus a fixed charge of £0.05 per order. This will be applied automatically to all transactions from when you enrol and is independent of the item’s sale price and independent of the standard final value fee (“Standard FVF”).
How do I enrol / un-enrol for the Low-Cost FVF?
If you would like to enrol or be removed from the Low-Cost FVF option, please contact customer support.
When will the Low-Cost FVF Apply?
The Low-Cost FVF will apply to all sales from 1 April 2022 until further notice (or until you choose to un-enrol).
Can the I use the Low-Cost FVF with other offers and discounts?
No, the Low-Cost FVF cannot be used in conjunction with any other final value fee promotions or discounts.
Is there a total sales price cap on which the Low-Cost FVF will apply?
No, the Low-Cost FVF will apply to all transactions, independent of the total sales price.
Will the Low-Cost FVF apply to new listings only?
No. All sales from both new and existing listings (including items that are automatically re-listed through the Automatic re-list function or the Good ‘Till Cancelled function) will be eligible for the Low-Cost FVF.
Which categories do I need to list in?
All categories on ebay.co.uk are eligible, except for items listed in the ’Property’, ’Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles’ and ’Coins, Banknotes & Bullion categories.
When do I get the new fees?
The Low-Cost FVF will be applied automatically to all transactions when the item sells from the point of enrolment.
How can I check if I am enrolled or not?
You will see an activation message in the ‘Promotional offers’ section of Seller Hub.
Does this change affect other fees too?
No, all other fees (such as insertion fees, listing upgrade fees, International fees and the variable percentage final value fee) will still apply and will be charged in accordance with the eBay fees policy.
Can business sellers with a registered address outside the UK enrol?
No. You must be a business seller with a registered address in the UK to enrol.
Can private sellers enrol?
No. You must have a business seller account to enrol.
Is VAT included on the new fees?
No. All fees displayed on this page are exclusive of VAT at 20%.
