How do I pay for my item?
How you pay for an item depends on the payment methods accepted by the seller. You should read the item description carefully before you bid to find out what methods the seller accepts. For information about advantages of different payment methods, see Payment Methods.
Note: If you have a PayPal question, please contact PayPal Customer Support.
Regardless of which payment method you are using, clicking the Pay Now button is the fastest way to pay on eBay.
After you win an auction-style listing or have clicked the Buy It Now button you can see the Pay Now button in the following locations:
In the Won section of My eBay
In the confirmation email you receive from eBay.
On the invoice email you receive from eBay on behalf of the seller.
To pay for an item:
Select Pay Now or Buy it now depending on whether you are paying for an auction-style or fixed price item.
Select your payment method and enter your payment information.
Check your postage information, and review your order details, including P&P and taxes.
Select Confirm and pay to complete your purchase.
Note: These steps assume that the seller is using checkout on eBay. Sellers have the option to use other checkout systems.
You are only obliged to pay the seller using one of the payment methods specified in the eBay listing. If you have questions about your payment, you should contact your seller.
