Tracking PayPal Payments You've Sent

After you've purchased your item, you can track your payment in My eBay.

If you purchased the item by clicking the Pay Now button or if the seller marks the payment as received in My eBay, the status of the item will automatically update in My eBay. However, if you've paid by another payment method, you will need to manually mark your payment as sent.

To mark your payment as sent:
  1. Go to My eBay.

  2. Click the "Won" link on the left side of the page.

  3. Locate your item, and click the "Mark As Payment Sent" link in the Action column.

Note: If you manually mark the item as Payment Sent, the seller isn't automatically notified. Click the "Contact Seller" link in the drop-down menu in the Action column to send the seller an email that you've sent your payment.

To track your PayPal payment:
  1. Go to My eBay.

  2. Click the "Won" link on the left side of the page.

  3. Locate your item. If the "Paid" icon is blue, you've paid for your item. If the icon is grey, you may need to make payment or update your payment status.
    Tip: Place your mouse over the "Paid" icon (Pound or Euro sign). A small box will appear with the current status of your payment.

You can check the status of your PayPal payment (for example, "completed" or "pending") from your PayPal account.
