What is the policy?
New perfumes must be in original packaging and provide all information as required by the Cosmetic Directive - opens in new window or tab, including:
- Identity of the manufacturer or the person responsible for marketing the product
- Composition of the product (content and list of ingredients)
- Use of the product
- Preservation of the product (date of minimum durability)
- The following are not allowed:
- Tester perfume
- Smell-alike perfume when compared to a well-known brand or scent
- Decanters
- Dramming bottles (bottles that include small quantities that can be used as free samples)
- Unboxed perfume from certain top brands may be subject to limits or restrictions
- Homemade cosmetics can be listed, as long as you make sure they comply with your country's regulations
Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties.
