eBay UK Love Island Final Screening Party– Terms and Conditions
1. Promotion Period
The eBay UK Love Island Final Screening Party (“Promotion”) will be open from 10:00:00am UK local time on Tuesday 21st February 2023 until 10:00:00am UK local time on Friday 24th February 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
2. Eligibility
This Promotion is open to Instagram users (the “Site”) who are UK residents, and who must be 18 years of age or older. Employees (and their families) of eBay, affiliates, subsidiary companies, representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may be professionally involved with the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. Procedure
In order to enter into the Promotion, you must follow @ebay_uk on Instagram, like the competition post and comment with which pre-loved item you love from Love Island Season 9 and why during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Entries”).
Entrants will not receive any confirmation of their entry into the Promotion. They will be entered if they meet the eligibility criteria stated above and correctly follow the procedure stated in this section.
Only one entry per person is allowed.
4. Procedure
The Prize will be 2 x VIP tickets to a screening of the Love Island finale in London and will be described in the Promotional Post and communicated to the Prize Winners within 1 days of the end of the Promotion Period. There is no cash alternative, and the Prize cannot be transferred.
The VIP tickets include:
· Access to an exclusive VIP screening party
· Standard return rail tickets from either the UK mainland stations, or flights from Northern Ireland (as applicable) nearest to the winner’s home address to a London train station
· Transfers from the London train station to the accommodation provided
· One (1) nights’ 4-star hotel accommodation in one room of double occupancy, with breakfast
For the avoidance of doubt, any personal expenses and spending money will be the responsibility of the Prize Winners.
It is the responsibility of the winner to inform ITV Commercial of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the Prize Winner and/or their companion when taking up the Prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines. The Prize Winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. ITV Commercial reserves the right to refuse admission to the live final or to remove any Prize Winners and/or their companions from the Love Island Final Screening Party in the event that they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs on arrival at the venue, or for reasons of public safety or for any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance, embarrassment or injury. Winners must be available for an overnight stay on 13th March 2023.
5. Prize Winner
There will be 2 Prize Winners who will be selected at random from all the Eligible Entries.
6. Prize Winner Notification
The Prize Winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message within 1 days of the end of the Promotion Period, in order to notify them of the Prize. If, despite eBay’s reasonable endeavours to do so, eBay cannot contact the Prize Winner, eBay reserves the right to select another Prize Winner among the Eligible Entries to award the Prize to.
eBay reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any of the entrants.
7. Prize Winner details
In accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing (CAP Code), the Prize Winner’s name and county of residence will be made available upon request to anyone who wishes to verify that a valid award took place. Such information will be made available
within 5 days of eBay successfully contacting the winner. In order to receive

The Prize Winner has the opportunity to object to this information being published or made available, or to reduce the amount of information being made available. In order to object, please contact Customer Service.
8. Exclusion From Participation
Any attempt to manipulate the Promotion is prohibited and will result in exclusion from participation.
If eBay has suspicions or knowledge that any entrant has been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, eBay reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any related entrants. eBay may also disqualify any entrant who does not act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions (or is acting in a way which contravenes the spirit and intention of these Terms and Conditions).
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the eBay User Privacy Notice.
Your personal data will be used by eBay in connection with, and in order to determine the winner of, the Promotion (including making available on request the Prize Winner’s name and county of residence, to anyone who wishes to obtain it). eBay will do this on the basis of its legitimate interests in enabling eBay users to participate in prize draws. The Prize Winner’s personal data may be passed to ITV Commercial and any authorised third parties for the purpose of fulfilment of the Prize. 10. Limitation of liability
eBay makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding any product or service provided by any third party in connection with any promotion.
eBay shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence) or the breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by the entrant resulting directly or indirectly from entry to this Promotion. Nothing in these terms shall limit eBay's liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
eBay will not be responsible for any third party's performance or failure to perform any services related to any promotion, or for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of the Promotion, provided that nothing shall limit eBay's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence.
eBay does not accept, and is not responsible for, any lost or delayed entries. eBay reminds entrants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software that may affect entry to the Promotion.
Although eBay will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Promotion ("Promotion Material") is accurate, eBay is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure that may affect eBay's operation of the Promotion, including without limitation the accuracy of any Promotion Material.
11. General
eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel this Promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which in eBay's opinion make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this Promotion. This includes the ability to substitute a prize, which is, in eBay’s reasonable opinion, of equivalent value, change the specification of the prize if circumstances require it or change the entry procedures to an email format.
The decision of the adjudicator regarding any aspect of this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
eBay may use third parties to facilitate one or more elements of the Promotion. These third party service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit the use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced eBay related operation. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
