Terms and Conditions

On Thursday 15 August 2013 (local UK time), eBay.co.uk registered Private Sellers (subject to the below mentioned seller restrictions) who list up to 100 listing(s) (with a starting price of £1 or more) in an eligible category using the 10-day auction-style listing format, starting on Thursday 15 August 2013 and ending on Sunday 25 August 2013 on eBay.co.uk, will not pay an Insertion Fee per listing.

Feature fees will still apply. The number of listings eligible under this promotion is limited to a maximum of 100 listings for sellers without listing restrictions or less where seller restrictions apply.

Items listed using professional tools, such as (but not limited to), Turbo Lister and Selling Manager Pro, are excluded. Items will only be eligible for this promotion if they are listed with the Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms, the new Quick Listing Tool or the eBay iPhone, eBay iPad, eBay Android, eBay Blackberry and eBay Windows Phone applications.

To take part in this promotion, sellers must be registered as resident in the UK.

On Thursday 15 August 2013 from 00:00:01 until 23:59:59 local UK time (promotional period).

• Only items listed on eBay.co.uk using the 10 day Auction-style or Auction-style with Buy It Now option formats in an eligible category with a starting price of £1 or more are included.  Listings using the Auction-style with Buy It Now format will be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.
• Sellers without seller restrictions may only list up to 100 eligible listings, with a starting price of £1 or more using the 10-day auction-style listing format for auctions starting on Thursday 15 August 2013 and ending on Sunday 25 August 2013. Sellers with restrictions may only list in accordance with their limits. Once a seller has reached the maximum limit of 100 listings, any further items listed during the promotion period will be charged standard Insertion Fees according to the eBay Insertion Fees Policy.
• Only sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please refer to “What’s Excluded?” for more details.
• Only items listed with the Quick Sell or Advanced Sell (Sell Your Item) forms, the new Quick Listing Tool, or the eBay iPhone, eBay iPad, eBay Android, eBay Blackberry or eBay Windows Phone applications.
• Any eligible item previously scheduled to go live on Thursday 15 August 2013 and ending on Sunday 25 August 2013 will qualify for the promotion.
• On Thursday 15 August 2013, if sellers re-list an eligible item that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will be considered to be a part of the promotion and form a part of the 100 listings limit, if the item has been listed using the auction style listing format and the auction is scheduled to end on Sunday the 25 August 2013.
• If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will not refund the Insertion Fee, as sellers would not have paid an Insertion Fee (the promotional Insertion Fee price of 0 pence) for re-listing the item.
• For items listed in two categories, only the Insertion Fee for the first category will be eligible for the promotion. Standard Insertion Fees will be charged for listing the same item in a second category, according to eBay fees.
• Only Private Sellers registered on eBay,co.uk as resident in the UK are eligible.

• Business Sellers are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
• PowerSellers are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
• Sellers whose accounts do not meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Please sign in to My eBay and view your seller dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards. If you have completed fewer than ten transactions as a seller, this information will not appear in My eBay but you will receive email notification if your account falls below the minimum performance standards. • If you've registered after 15th March 2011 or have not listed any items for a while you may have a listing allowance of 10 items per month or of £650 per month, whichever is reached first, which you can increase. Additional verification may be required. Please click here to find out more.
• Any listings that are not listed using the auction-style listing with a duration of 10-days are excluded.
• Any listings that do not start on Thursday 15 August 2013 and are not scheduled to end on Sunday 25 August 2013 are excluded.
• Auction-style listings listed with a starting price of between £0.01 and £0.99 will be excluded from the promotion, and will instead count towards your 100 free new listings/month, in accordance with the eBay Fees policy. Please see “Further Information” below for more details.
• All items listed in the "Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles" category. (However items listed in the “Vehicle Parts & Accessories” category are included.)
• Items listed in the "Property" category.
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy.
• Fixed Price (Buy It Now) format listings.
• Any item listed outside of the promotional period or any item listed that is scheduled to start outside of the promotional period does NOT qualify for the promotion.
• Any items listed which do not comply with eBay’s Listing Policies or Prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.
• Items which are listed with a Reserve Price are excluded from this promotion.
• Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to 0 pence (£0.00). All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery Plus" or "Subtitle”; See the full details about eBay fees.
• All items listed with professional tools, such as (but not limited to)"Turbo Lister" and "Selling Manager Pro" are excluded from this promotion.

Members listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

• If you list items during the promotion period with a starting price of between £0.01 and £0.99, these listings will be excluded from the promotion and will count towards your 100 new listings/month limit.  Please see here for more details about the 100 new listings per month limits.
• When items have been automatically relisted within the Quick Listing Tool, this will not count towards your allocation of 100 free Insertion Fees during the promotion.

• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion. 
• eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
• The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
