Prize Draw  Period

The eBay.co.uk List To Win prize draw (“Prize Draw”) will be open from 00:00:00 UK local time on 16th August until 23:59:59 UK local time on 22nd August (“Prize Draw Period”).

Eligibility and Procedure

Any private seller who creates a new listing for an item on www.eBay.co.uk during the Prize Draw Period shall be eligible for the Prize Draw. Automatically renewed listings, listings beginning after the Prize Draw Period, and listings in certain categories are not eligible. Please see the Restrictions and Exclusions from Participation section below for details. 

Employees (and their families) of eBay, affiliates, subsidiary companies, representatives or agents of those companies and anyone else who may have been professionally involved with the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter. 

Any item listed that doesn't comply with eBay listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policies will not be eligible.

You will automatically enter the Prize Draw once you list an item on eBay.co.uk (“Eligible Entries”). Up to 5 entries per user are allowed. Entrants will not receive any confirmation of their entry in the Prize Draw. They will be entered if they meet the Eligibility criteria stated above and correctly follow the procedure stated in this section.

Criteria for Determining the Winne

There will be one (1) prize winner (“Winner”) who will be selected at random from all the Eligible Entries. The Prize Draw will take place within thirty (30) days of the end of the Prize Draw Period. 

Prize

The Prize Draw Prize is four vouchers worth £2500 each which can only be used on eBay.co.uk (“Prize”) The Winner will receive all four vouchers. Each voucher can only be used in one transaction. There is no cash alternative. The Prize is non-refundable and will only be awarded to the Winner.

Summary of the Prize voucher’s T&Cs

• Each voucher will be valid until the 31st of December 2021 and can only be redeemed once.
• There will be no minimum order value for a voucher.
• Each voucher must be redeemed in a single transaction. If your purchase price is less than the voucher amount, you will lose the unused amount.
• Each voucher cannot be redeemed together with other vouchers.
• Each voucher can only be applied to the purchase price and does not apply to delivery costs or taxes and fees. The vouchers do not apply to the ‘Property’, ‘Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles’ categories. However, items listed in the ‘Vehicle Parts & Accessories‘ category are included. 
• Each voucher has no cash value and is not transferable.
• The voucher value and key exclusions or limitations that may apply for each voucher will be set out in the email you will receive. Each voucher is also subject to its own terms and conditions which shall be communicated alongside the voucher(s).

Notification to Winner

The Winner will be notified within thirty (30) days of the winner being selected by e-mail. The notification will be addressed to the e-mail address provided by the entrant in their eBay account and may request further contact details. If, despite eBay’s reasonable endeavours to do so, eBay cannot contact the Winner, eBay reserves the right to select another Winner from amongst the Eligible Entries to award the Prize to.

Prerequisite for Claiming a Prize

eBay reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. You may be required to provide further details in order to claim the vouchers.

Restrictions & Exclusion From Participation

• Users residing in Northern Ireland are excluded from the Prize Draw. 
• Anyone who is not a private seller.
• All items listed in the Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles and Property categories. However, items listed in the Vehicle Parts & Accessories category are included.
• Identical listings that don’t comply with our duplicate listings policy.
• Any item listed that doesn’t comply with eBay listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policies.
• Any item listed during the Prize Draw Period but scheduled to start after the Prize Draw period.
• Listings that are automatically relisted through the Automatic relist function or the Good ‘Till Cancelled function during the Prize Draw Period.
• Multi-quantity listings.
• Any attempt to manipulate the Prize Draw, particularly by using automatic mechanisms such as scripts or anything similar is prohibited and will result in exclusion from participation. 
• If eBay has suspicions or knowledge that any entrant has been involved in any fraudulent or illegal activity, eBay reserves the right to disqualify that entrant and any related entrants.
• eBay reserves the right to disqualify participants who do not comply with these entry conditions. 

Data Use, Data Privacy Protection

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the eBay User Privacy Notice.

Your personal data will be used by eBay in connection with, and in order to determine the Winner of the Prize Draw (including making available on request the Winner’s name and county of residence, to anyone who wishes to obtain it). eBay will do this on the basis of its legitimate interests in enabling eBay users to participate in prize draws. By participating in the Prize Draw you give eBay Your consent to communicate with you in regards to the Prize Draw.

Limitation of liability

eBay makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding any product or service provided by any third party in connection with any promotion or the Prize Draw. 

eBay shall not be liable, in contract or tort (including negligence) or the breach of statutory duty or in any other way, for the loss or damage howsoever arising suffered by the entrant resulting directly or indirectly from entry to this Prize Draw. Nothing in these terms shall limit eBay's liability for death, personal injury or fraud. 

eBay will not be responsible for any third party's performance or failure to perform any services related to any promotion and/or the Prize Draw, or for any costs, damages, accident, delay, injury, loss, expense, or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the use of the Prize Draw, provided that nothing shall limit eBay's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. 

eBay does not accept, and is not responsible for, any lost or delayed entries. eBay reminds entrants of the nature and limitations of the Internet and is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software that may affect entry to the Prize Draw. 

Although eBay will use reasonable efforts to ensure that all information relating to the Prize Draw ("Prize Draw Material") is accurate, eBay is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any communications network, online system or computer hardware or software failure that may affect eBay's operation of the Prize Draw, including without limitation the accuracy of any Prize Draw Material. 

General

eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel this Prize Draw at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which in eBay's opinion make it necessary for it to do so. This includes the ability to substitute a prize, which is, in eBay’s reasonable opinion, of equivalent value, change the specification of the prize if circumstances require it or change the entry procedures from an online form to an email format. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this Prize Draw. 

The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this Prize Draw  is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

eBay may carry out this Prize Draw through its local subsidiaries. eBay may use third parties to facilitate one or more elements of the Prize Draw . These third party service providers are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit the use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced eBay related operation.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. Each party irrevocably agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts over any claim or matter arising under these terms and conditions.

Listing and sale of any items on www.eBay.co.uk will be subject to eBay’s standard fees.
