What is the promotion?
Create new listings in eligible categories during the Promotional Period detailed below using auction-style or fixed price listing formats. For the eligible items you have listed that sell and are paid for in full by the buyer using PayPal before Friday 03 February 2017 23:59:59 GMT, you will receive 10X the Nectar points that a buyer would normally have earned for making that purchase, up to a maximum of 5000 points.
Before you start listing, you need to have actively opted in to the promotion via the Activate Now button shown in the relevant marketing communication from eBay to you.
This promotion is not visible in the Promotional Offer page that can be accessed from ‘My eBay’.
Insertion fees, listing upgrade fees and final value fees apply.
Where is it?
This promotion applies to listings on www.eBay.co.uk only.
Who is eligible?
Only www.eBay.co.uk registered private sellers who have been invited to participate and have actively opted in to the promotion via the Activate Now button shown in the relevant marketing communication are eligible to participate in this promotion. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable. Sellers must be registered as a resident in the UK, have an active Nectar account and have linked your Nectar and eBay accounts.
When is it?
This promotion runs from Friday 20 January from 00:00:01 until Friday 03 February 2017 23:59:59 GMT (“Promotional Period”).
Only listings which start during the Promotional Period are eligible. Items must also be sold and paid for during the Promotional Period. Please refer to “How do I receive my Nectar points?” for more details.
How do I receive my Nectar points?
- This promotion is valid for listings which go live, sell and are paid for during the Promotional Period on www.eBay.co.uk using the auction-style or fixed price listing formats in an eligible category.
- You will receive 10X the Nectar points that a buyer would normally have earned by making that purchase, for any of your eligible items that sell and are paid for in full by the buyer using PayPal before Friday 03 February 2017 23:59:59 GMT. The bonus points will be based on the value each item sells for, subject to the maximum number of points detailed below.
- Maximum number of Nectar points that will be awarded for this promotion is 5000 per user.
- Nectar points will be awarded within 28 days after the end of the Promotional Period. There is no cash alternative and the offer is not transferable.
Restrictions & exclusions:
- Only sellers whose eBay account meets eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible to participate in this promotion. Please sign in to My eBay and view your ‘Seller Dashboard’ to verify whether your account is currently meeting the required standards. The Seller Dashboard is available to all sellers. The detailed rating section is available to sellers who have received five (5) or more detailed seller ratings (“DSRs”). Find out more about eBay’s seller performance standards.
- Items sold and paid by any payment method other than PayPal.
- Items sold before Friday 03 February 2017 23:59:59 GMT but paid for by the buyer after Friday 03 February 2017 23:59:59 GMT.
- Items sold and paid for by the buyer before Friday 03 February 23:59:59 GMT but where payment is reimbursed partially or totally at a later date.
- An item that is sold by an eBay account that is linked to the same postcode as the buyer of that item’s eBay account, even where the rest of the address is different. For example, where the house number or street name is different but the postcode is identical.
- Business sellers.
- Sellers who have been invited to participate, but have not actively opted in to the promotion via the Activate Now button shown in the relevant marketing communication.
- Items listed in the ‘classified’ format.
- Items not listed in an eligible category. All items listed in the ‘Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles’ and ‘Property’ categories are excluded as these are not eligible categories. However, please note that items listed in the ‘Vehicle Parts & Accessories’ category are included.
- Listings that are identical to another listing and/or that don’t comply with our duplicate listings policy.
- Any items listed that don’t comply with eBay’s listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policies.
General terms:
- Any attempt to manipulate the promotion will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.
- eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
- eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
- The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- If eBay has suspicions or knowledge that you have been involved in any actual or attempted fraudulent or illegal activity, eBay reserves the right to disqualify you and anyone else involved in such activity. eBay may also disqualify you if you do not act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, eBay's User Agreement, the Nectar Programme Terms and Conditions and/or any policies that eBay may communicate to you.
- If your Nectar card is/becomes blocked, closed or restricted for any reason during the Promotional Period, you are/will be excluded from participating in the promotion.
Organiser
- The Promotion is organised by eBay. It may carry out this organisation through its local subsidiaries or third parties. Certain elements may be carried out by Aimia Coalition Loyalty UK Limited ("Aimia").
