What is the promotion?
eBay.co.uk business sellers who have been invited to participate by email or by a message in My eBay Messages and have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication, will pay no Subscription fee related to their subscription to a Basic eBay Shop (a “Shop”) from the day they sign up to a maximum of 2 calendar months (the “Promotion”). The period during which the selected Sellers will not pay any Subscription fee as a result of this Promotion shall be referred to as the “Promotional Subscription Period.”

Please note: Your eBay Basic Shop subscription will automatically renew by the length of your subscription term after the Promotional Subscription Period. Your Basic Shop subscription will be deemed to start on the day you sign up.  If you do not want to be charged for your eBay Basic Shop subscription in accordance with the Shops terms after the Promotional Subscription Period, you’ll need to cancel your subscription by 23:59:59 UK time, one day prior the end of the Promotional Subscription Period. Who is eligible?
To take part in this promotion, business sellers must be registered as resident in the UK, must have been invited to participate and must have actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication. Sellers that have been invited to participate will have received an email and/or a message in My eBay. Participation is linked to the invited business seller’s account and is not transferable. When is it?
Valid up to 7 days after receipt of the promotional offer (promotion period)
When will I see the Promotion credit?
If you qualify for the Promotion, you will not see the discount in the subscription flow. The subscription fee discount will be applied to your account during the following billing cycle after you subscribe. You will then see the discount on the next billing.
How do I get the promotional rate?
  • Sellers that have been invited to participate in the Promotion will automatically receive the Promotional Rate on their next invoice when they sign-up for an eBay Basic Shop subscription. Please note: the promotional rate will not display during the sign-up flow.
  • Only business sellers who have an eBay seller account and have placed their credit card on file.
  • Only business sellers who are PayPal Verified.
  • Only business sellers whose accounts meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible. Please refer to “What’s Excluded?” for more details.
  • Only business sellers registered on eBay.co.uk as residents in the UK and who are invited by eBay to take part in the Promotion are eligible. These business sellers will have been sent an email invitation to their provided email address or have received a message in My eBay Messages inviting them to participate.
Summary of Restrictions & Exclusions.
  • Any sellers who have NOT been invited to participate.
  • Sellers who have been invited to participate, but have not actively opted in to the promotion via the RSVP link shown in the marketing communication.
  • Business sellers whose accounts do not meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are not eligible to participate in this promotion. Please sign in to My eBay and view your seller dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards. If you have completed fewer than ten transactions as a business seller, this information will not appear in My eBay but you will receive email notification if your account falls below the minimum performance standards.   • The Promotional Rate does not apply to eBay Shops subscriptions with a start date prior to the date you received the promotional offer. Additionally, the Promotional Rate will not apply to eBay Shop subscriptions that are started after the Promotion Period.
  • Please note: Your eBay Basic Shop subscription will automatically renew by the length of your subscription term after the Promotional Subscription Period. General Terms:
  • eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion. 
  • eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
  • The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
