- The Promotion
This promotion is only open to invited private sellers registered on eBay.co.uk and who have actively opted in to this promotion (as described in paragraph 2 below) (You). When You list an item for sale on the eBay.co.uk (the “eBay UK Site”) and the item is sold and posted with eBay Delivery powered by Shutl (drop off at Hermes Parcelshop) during the Promotional Period (defined in paragraph 3 below), your first purchase of eligible printerless delivery (see paragraph 2 below) via eBay Delivery powered by Shutl will cost just £1.
- Sign-up and Eligibility
2.1 To participate in this promotion, You must actively opt in to the promotion by clicking the ‘Accept Offer’ link shown in the marketing communication for this promotion either addressed to You or targetted to You (Promotional Marketing Material) before listing your item for sale on the eBay UK Site. Only participants who have:
- registered on eBay UK site;
- are registered as residents in the UK;
- are private sellers on the eBay UK Site; and
- who have received the Promotional Marketing Material from eBay,
will be eligible to participate in this promotion.
2.2 By clicking the “Accept Offer” link on the Promotional Marketing Material, signing in (where appropriate) using a valid UK registered account and redeeming the promotion, You will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and to have agreed to be bound by them.
2.2 This promotion will only apply to printerless delivery of the following parcel sizes (i) 0kg – 2kg Small and Medium parcels via eBay Delivery powered by Shutl (drop off at Hermes Parcelshop).
2.3 Listings will be eligible if an eBay User:
- Offers UK delivery methods through the “eBay delivery – Shutl 2-3 day” service;
- Successfully sells the listed item during the Promotional Period (defined in paragraph 3 below);
- Once item is sold, purchase of eBay delivery powered by Shutl (drop off at Hermes Parcelshop) is made with “print in-store” option selected during the Promotional Period (defined in paragraph 3 below) via “My eBay”;
- Labels are printed and used during the Promotional Period (defined in paragraph 3 below);
- Print in-store QR or authorisation code is redeemed and the resulting label is used during the Promotional Period (defined in paragraph 3 below) by drop-off at a participating Hermes Parcelshop (https://new.myhermes.co.uk/find-a-parcel-shop.html?printinstore=true).- check “Refine Search” for participating printerless stores).

This promotion is valid from 3 October 2018, 00:00:01 (BST) until 30 October 2018, 23:59:59 (BST) (the “Promotional Period”)
- How to redeem the Promotion
- “Accept Offer” on Promotional Marketing Material sent to You;
- List your items on the eBay UK Site;
- When creating your listing, in the ‘postage’ section, click ‘change’ (for desktop and mobile) or ‘edit’ (for the eBay app) to change the delivery service to ‘eBay delivery – Shutl 2-3 day’ delivery service;
- Once You have sold your item, select Hermes carrier in ‘Shutl 2-3 day’ service, ensure your parcel is up to 2kg (small or medium parcel) only, and You select the ‘Print in-store’ option during label check-out;
- Your printerless authorization code and QR code will be emailed to the email address registered with your eBay account; next take your parcel (packaged but without its label) to your nearest participating Hermes Parcelshop, listed here: https://new.myhermes.co.uk/find-a-parcel-shop.html?printinstore=true). - check “Refine Search” for participating printerless stores);
- In purchasing the relevant delivery services, You will also be asked to accept and be subject to the Delivery Terms and Conditions of the eBay delivery powered by Shutl service agreement;
- Only PayPal is accepted as a payment method. If you do not have a billing agreement with PayPal you will be asked to set one up. After a billing agreement is set up, You will be charged automatically once per month for all deliveries under eBay Delivery powered by Shutl. You will receive an invoice at the beginning of the next month for the labels you have used. In relation to the label redeemed as part of the Promotion the invoice will either (i) show a credit for the label you used or (ii) show the £1 discounted rate against the first eligible label purchased. Delivery charges for services other than the first £1 label will be invoiced and due. Labels printed but not used will not be charged. NOTE: Additional charges or any services purchased by sellers for the delivery services such as ‘proof of delivery’ or ‘enhanced compensation’ will not be covered by this Promotion.
- Exclusions and Restrictions
The following exclusions or restrictions apply to this promotion:
- Parcel sizes and/or delivery services that are not covered in this promotion are excluded;
- Listings not offering eBay delivery powered by Shutl print in-store (drop off at Hermes Parcelshop) as an option will be excluded;
- Any item listed that doesn’t comply with eBay’s listing policies, intellectual property rights protection policy [LINK] or prohibited and restricted items policies are excluded;
- eBay Delivery powered by Shutl’s terms and conditions apply to this promotion, including the prohibited goods policy and the claims and compensation terms;
- Standard eBay fees as well as other fees (insertion fees, listing upgrade fees) are not covered in this Promotion and will continue to apply to your eBay transaction. For more information about eBay Fees visit: https://sellercentre.ebay.co.uk/private/fees.
- PayPal and any other third-party fees are not covered in this promotion and will continue to apply;
- Carrier restrictions may apply;
- maximum of one £1 label redeemable per eligible eBay User ID for the Promotional Period;Services or labels purchased or printed after the Promotional Period will be excluded.
General Terms:
- Anyone who provides misleading details or information or those who attempt to redeem on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified from this Promotion, at eBay ’s sole discretion;
- Any attempt to manipulate the promotion will lead to automatic exclusion from participation; eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this Promotion. eBay reserves the right to exclude any eBay user, even if invited, on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers can check their account status on ‘My eBay’.
- The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- eBay cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering this promotion because of any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure or of any promotion to be activated on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website, including any injury to or resulting from participation or downloading of any materials in this promotion. Nothing shall exclude eBay’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
