What is the promotion?

If you list and successfully sell an item worth at least £10 (excluding postage & packaging costs) during the Promotional Period (the “Promotional Period” is the duration of the promotion as stated in the marketing communication), you will receive £10 back as credit to your PayPal account.

The promotion applies to one sale only. The PayPal credit will be credited to the PayPal account you received the selling payments to against the eligible sale within 6 weeks of the end of the Promotional Period. Only listings which are created, go live, and sell during the Promotional Period are eligible.

Before you create your listings, you need to have actively opted in to the promotion via the ‘Accept offer’ button shown in the marketing communication.

All applicable fees such as insertion fees, listing upgrade fees, and final value fees still apply.

Where is it?

This promotion applies to listings on www.eBay.co.uk only.

Who is eligible?

Only private sellers registered on www.eBay.co.uk who have received the e-mail marketing communication and have actively opted in to this promotion. Participation is linked to the seller’s account and is not transferable.

How do I get the cashback?

You will receive the PayPal credit if you have opted in to the promotion, and have listed and sold an item, as detailed in the “What is the promotion?” section above, within the Promotional Period. An item is defined as sold when it is paid for in full by the buyer. The payment must be made in full before the end of the Promotional Period. All dates and times are UK local time.

The credit will be paid into the PayPal account that you have set up to receive proceeds from selling within 6 weeks of the end of the Promotional Period. Please note that such PayPal account may differ from the PayPal account which is linked to an eBay account for other purposes, such as verification or payment of their invoices.

You will not receive any further email correspondence from eBay regarding this promotion once the credit has been completed. PayPal will notify you once the cashback has been credited to your account.

Please note that you must ensure that your PayPal account is able to receive funds and that there are not any account limitations to receiving funds. You must not have any unpaid invoices (e.g. outstanding selling fees).

Restrictions & exclusions:

• Only sellers whose eBay account meets eBay’s minimum seller performance standards are eligible to participate in this promotion. Please sign in to My eBay and view your ‘Seller Dashboard’ to verify whether your account currently meets the required standards. The Seller Dashboard is available to all sellers. The detailed rating section is available to sellers who have received five (5) or more detailed seller ratings (“DSRs”).
• Items which were listed prior to the Promotional Period, even if they are scheduled to go live during the Promotional Period, and items which are relisted (either manually or automatically).
• Items sold and paid for by any payment method other than PayPal, credit card, debit card or PayPal Credit. Cash on delivery is excluded.
• Items sold and paid for by a buyer during the Promotional Period but where payment is reimbursed partially or totally by you at a later date due to a return or for any other reason.
• Items sold by an eBay account that are purchased by a buyer who has the same address as the seller.
• Business sellers.
• Sellers who have been invited to participate, but have not actively opted in to the promotion via the ‘Accept offer’ button shown in the relevant marketing communication.
• Items listed in the ‘classified’ format.
• All items listed in the ‘Property’ and ‘Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles’ categories. However, please note that items listed in the ‘Vehicle Parts & Accessories’ category are included.
• Listings that are identical to another listing and/or that don’t comply with our duplicate listings policy.
• Any items listed that don’t comply with eBay’s listing policies or prohibited and restricted items policies.

General terms:

• Any attempt to manipulate the promotion will lead to automatic exclusion from participation.
• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion. 
• eBay also reserves the right to exclude users on the basis that their seller accounts have fallen below the minimum required seller performance standards. Sellers should confirm eligibility by checking their account status on My eBay.
• The decision of eBay regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
