Motors free listing day, all formats price promotion

What is it?

The normal Insertion Fee of £8.00 for Auction format and Buy It Now listings is reduced to £0.00 and the Classified listing fee of £14.99 is reduced to £0.00 (“promotional Insertion Fee”) when you list in the “Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles” category on eBay.co.uk during the Motors Free Listing Day on 23rd May 2010 (local UK time).

When is it?

Sunday 23rd May 2010 00:00:01 until 23:59:59 local UK time (“promotional period”).

What’s Included?

• Items listed on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style, Auction with Buy It Now option, Buy It Now (Fixed Price) or Classified formats are included. 
• Any listing previously scheduled to start during the promotional period will qualify for the promotion.
• All items listed for sale in the “Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles” category.
• If a seller re-lists an item during the promotional period that had previously closed without a successful sale, the re-listed item will qualify for the promotion. 
• If the re-listed item sells and is eligible under the eBay re-list policy, eBay will not refund the Insertion Fee, as sellers would not have paid an Insertion Fee (the promotional Insertion Fee price of 0 pence (£0.00)) for re-listing the item.
• To take part in this promotion, sellers must be registered as resident in the UK.

What’s Excluded?

• Any items listed in the “Vehicle Parts & Accessories” category will not qualify for this promotion.
• Any items listed in another category than the “Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles” category are excluded.
• Multiple-Item listings in Buy It Now (Fixed Price) format. See the full details about Multiple-Item listings.
• Items listed using the Good ‘Til Cancelled format are excluded.
• Identical listings that do not comply with our Duplicate Listings policy. See the full details about our Duplicate Listings policy.
• Any item listed during the promotional period but scheduled to start after the promotional period will NOT qualify for the promotion.
• Any items listed which do not comply with eBay’s Listing Policies or Prohibited and Restricted Items Policies.
• Only the basic eBay Insertion Fee will be reduced to 0 pence (£0.00). All other eBay selling fees will still apply, including but not limited to Final Value Fees, optional Reserve Price Fees and all Listing Upgrade Fees such as "Gallery Plus" or "Subtitle”; See the full details about eBay fees.

Members listing using the Auction-with-Buy It Now format will still be charged the full Listing Upgrade Fee for Buy It Now.

Further Information

• If the item qualifies for the promotion, the "Sell Your Item" form will indicate to the seller that they have been charged the Insertion Fee of 0 pence (£0.00).
• Items which are listed using the Auction-style format with a Reserve Price are included in the promotion.

• eBay reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel the promotion at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which, in eBay's opinion, make it necessary for it to do so. eBay reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for certain parts of this promotion.
