eBay Policy Education Programme

At eBay, we’re committed to helping our business sellers succeed and sell with confidence.

That’s why we’re introducing the eBay Policy Education Programme, a new initiative that provides selected sellers with proactive guidance and 1:1 educational support to help improve the understanding of a selection of eBay policies.

You’ll be partnered with an eBay Marketplace Advisor who will support your business in maintaining compliant selling practices. This programme is designed to help you build awareness of relevant policies and apply best practices to your business.

  • Guidance based on your recent selling activity

  • Policy examples and best practice tips across common policy areas

  • Resources to help you stay aligned with eBay rules

Sellers are selected based on internal eligibility criteria. No opt-in is required. The length of your enrolment will be agreed between you and your assigned teammate.

This is an education-only programme. It does not delay, prevent or impact in any way enforcement actions such as listing removals or account restrictions. You remain responsible for complying with all eBay policies at all times.

There’s no action required to join. Sellers are selected automatically based on internal eligibility criteria. If you're enrolled, you’ll be contacted by your assigned eBay educator.

The duration of your enrolment will be agreed between you and your assigned Marketplace Advisor, based on the nature of the support needed.

This programme is free of charge for participating sellers.

This programme is currently limited to selected business sellers identified by eBay. It is not open to all sellers and cannot be shared or transferred.

No. This programme focuses on a set of selected policies that are commonly misunderstood by sellers. It does not cover every policy and does not replace your obligation to comply with all applicable eBay rules.
