What is eBay consignment?
eBay consignment is a service designed to help you sell your luxury handbags and accessories with ease. It takes the hard work out of selling your items. All you have to do is let our third-party partner know the items you want to sell, and ship them to the partner with a prepaid, insured postage label. Start by filling out the consignment intake form linked in this page. Eligible brands and categories will populate under the “about your items” section. Then, submit your form, print your postage label(s), and send in your items to the partner. How does eBay consignment work?
It’s easy! Simply fill out the consignment intake form linked in this page. Then, submit your consignment intake form, print your postage label(s), and send in your items to the partner. eBay consignment is conducted by a large and experienced partner. Once our partner receives your item(s), their team of professionals will research the item(s) and send a competitive selling quote, which you will have 7 days to accept or reject. The partner will contact you to obtain further information for items over the value of £10,000. Upon you accepting the selling quote, the partner’s team of professionals will do item and quality checks, and then photograph, price, and list the items for you on ebay.co.uk. In the event that the item does not sell after 90 days, it will also be listed on the partner's own website. Simply wait for your items to sell, and then collect your earnings.

Does the partner inspect the items?
Yes, the partner will carry out checks on the items. These include but are not limited to, the partner reviewing that the item matches the consignment intake form, and the partner performing various quality checks prior to listing.
How do I post my items?
After you complete the consignment intake form and let the partner know how many boxes you need, the partner will email you a prepaid postage label for the number of boxes you indicated. These postage labels enable you to post the items you input on the consignment intake form to the partner’s facility. Please make sure you pack and parcel your items securely. To help ensure your postage arrives safely, each postage label is insured for the total value of your consigned item(s).
How are my items priced?
Our partner’s inventory team will thoroughly research your items and obtain a fair market resale value. This is one of the most time consuming parts of the selling process, which the partner now handles for you. The partner takes into consideration age, style, designer, comparable sales, and condition. If an item doesn’t sell after 60 days, our partner will proactively make a moderate price reduction to help generate a sale. Rest assured, the partner is invested in these items and share a common goal to sell each and every item for the most the partner reasonably can.
Should I include any accompanying items with the product?
Accompanying items, including (but not limited to) authenticity cards, paperwork, or original branded dust bags, can increase the resale value of your items. Please include any accompanying items if you have them available. If you do not have any accompanying items to include, do not worry. The partner’s team of professionals will endeavour that you still achieve a competitive selling price for your luxury items.
Can I consign my items if I am posting from outside the United Kingdom?
Items posted from addresses outside of the United Kingdom are not eligible for eBay consignment at this time.
How long will the consignment process take?
Most items consigned with our partner sell in 15 days or less. However, the time from initial consignment to sale varies due to factors including, but not limited to, seasonality, customer demand, and condition. In the event that the item does not sell after 90 days, it will also be listed on the partner's own website.
How long will it be until I receive my payment?
Our partner will notify you once your item sells. Provided the item is not returned, our partner will issue payment to you via bank transfer 30 days after the sale.
How long will the partner hold my items for consignment?
The consignment period begins on the date your items are listed for sale. Our partner will continue to relist your items for sale for up to one year from the date of listing, unless you notify our partner otherwise. If you have items that remain unsold after that one year, it is your responsibility to contact our partner to arrange their return by emailing customercare@luxecollectivefashion.com. The return postage cost is £40 per item (excluding Hermes Birkins, which have a return postage cost of £150). If the partner does not hear from you within a month after the expiry of that year, the items will become the partner’s property.
How can I track the progress of my consignments?
Progress information is available upon request. Please email our partner at customercare@luxecollectivefashion.com with your name and tracking number, and a representative from the partner’s team will be in touch with a status update within 48 hours of your request.
What if the item is rejected at receipt at the facility or I want the item back?
If the item is not an eligible item for the programme, is unable to be listed, for example because of low resale value, condition, or you reject the selling quote, our partner will reach out and let you know your options. You can work with our partner to arrange a return. The return postage cost is up to £20 per item.
