Celebrity make-up artist Justine Jenkins shows you how to rock Millie Mackintosh’s Midsummer Night's Dream beauty look in five simple steps
Finish off the look with a gorgeous rose coloured lip gloss — this shade suits absolutely everyone.
1. Prep ‘n’ prime
Firstly, remove any traces of make-up and dirt using an oil-based cleanser. Next cleanse with your preferred cleanser. Even out your skin tone with a brightening serum. Then moisturise, taking time to gently massage the product into the skin - this plumps up the skin and increases circulation. Then apply a primer to create a longer-lasting base for foundation.
Beauty trick: To give your skin a natural, dewy glow always double cleanse.
2. Ace the base
Lightly buff a beauty balm into the skin — use your fingers or a brush. Dab an illuminating cream onto the highest part of your cheekbones. Then gently dust a mineral powder around the T-zone only. Cover up any dark circles with a stroke of under-eye concealer — pat using your ring finger, ensuring not to drag the skin.
Beauty trick: Always choose an under-eye concealer with light-reflecting pigments. Heavy concealers will cake and crack.
3. Natural flush
Take a cream blusher - this reflects the light more than a powder. Smile and pat the blush onto the fullest part of your cheeks and finely blend using your fingers or a foundation brush.
Beauty trick: If you have very oily skin opt for a powder blush to absorb any excess moisture.
4. Pretty peepers
Keep eyes simple with a pale gold eyeshadow all over the lids and inner corners of the eyes. Trace along the upper lash line with a bronze eyeliner and blend using a small brush. Coat lashes in a black mascara and apply false eyelashes.
Beauty trick: Falsies are a must if you’re in need of a little extra va va voom.
5. Luxe lips
Finish off the look with a gorgeous rose coloured lip gloss — this shade suits absolutely everyone.
Beauty trick: Prevent lip gloss from getting on your teeth by placing your thumb in your mouth and pull it out. This is especially effective for brighter shades of gloss.
