Aqua girl: diving into the blue

The spring/summer 2014 catwalks were awash with myriad blue tones, from aqua and cloud through to azure and sapphire. Appearing on razor-sharp tailoring, cocktail dresses and biker jackets, brilliant blue tones are set to rule the style scene for work and play.

- Introduce tonal layers, tactile fabrics and denim for a fresh take on the cool colour palette.

- Clash up blue and black tailored separates for instant fashion kudos.

- Pear shapes should opt for darker hues on the bottom and paler shades on top to balance out proportions.
