Power petals: freshly-cut for spring

There’s a new batch of bouquets for the taking as 3D posies and midnight blooms pop up on our favourite wardrobe essentials. On the spring/summer 2014 catwalks, designers doubled up on floral co-ordinates or mashed them up with contrast-print separates. We’re following their lush lead to win best in bloom.

Styling tips
- Put stand-out stems in the spotlight and pick one colour from the floral pattern to accessorise with.

- Team one floral statement, like a skirt, with a boxy white T-shirt to play down the fancy factor.

- Opt for floral embellishment on top to enhance a small bust.
